ABSTRACT

Objective :To explore therapeutic effect of recombinant human brain natriuretic peptide (rhBNP) and le‐vosimendan on patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) undergoing emergency percutaneous coronary inter‐vention (PCI) and its safety .Methods :A total of 110 AMI patients undergoing PCI ,who were treated in our hospi‐tal from Jan 2017 to Oct 2017 ,were selected .Patients were randomly divided into rhBNP group (n=53 ,received rhBNP based on routine medication ) and levosimendan group (n=57 ,received levosimendan based on routine medi‐cation) ,both groups were treated for 7d.The 24h urine volume ,heart rate (HR ) ,respiratory rate (RR ) before and 24h after PCI ,level of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) , LVEF , LVEDd ,LVESd before and 7d after PCI were observed and compared between two groups .Results : Compared with before PCI on 24h after PCI ,there was significant rise in 24h urine volume ,and significant reductions in HR and RR in two groups , P=0.001 all.Com‐pared with levosimendan group on 24h after PCI ,there was significant rise in 24h urine volume [(1732.00 ± 243. 75) ml vs.(1854.23 ± 264.24) ml] ,and significant reductions in HR [ (79.24 ± 9.43) beats/min vs.(73.43 ± 8.24) beats/min] and RR [ (18. 32 ± 4. 76) times/min vs.(15.32 ± 4. 23) times/min ] in rhBNP group ( P<0. 05 or <0.01) ;on 7d after PCI ,compared with rhBNP group , LVEF [ (40.45 ± 5. 65)% vs .(44.75 ± 5.87)%] , BNP lev‐el [(256. 54 ± 9.38) pg/ml vs.(395.25 ± 8. 34) pg/ml] was significantly higher ,and LVESd [(47. 87 ± 4.65) mm vs.(43. 83 ± 3.65) mm] were significantly lower ( P=0.001 all) in levosimendan group .There was no significant difference in incidence rates of adverse reactions between two groups after PCI ( P>0.05 all).Conclusion :Myo‐cardial contraction capacity of levosimendan is significantly better than that of rhBNP ,while rhBNP is significantly better than levosimendan in reducing BNP level and improving renal function .

Aim To explore the apoptotic effect of mimics of manganese superoxide dismutase(MnSODm)on human leukemia cell line K562 in vitro and the possible molecular mechanisms.Methods Human leukemia K562 cells were used as the target cells.The cell proliferating activity was examined by a MTT colorimetric assay,and the apoptosis of K562 cells was assessed with FITC-Annexin V and propidium iodide(PI)double staining and morphological changes.The expressions of bcl-2 and bax mRNA were detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR),and flow cytometry(FCM)was employed to measure the expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax protein,mitochondrial inner membrane potential(??m),Cytochrome C(Cyt C)release and Caspase-3 activity.Results The proliferation of K562 cells was obviously inhibited by 0.5~10 mg?L-1 MnSODm(P

ABSTRACT

ive] To observe the therapeutic effects of Xiaoji Decoction (XD) in treating intermed iate and late stages of lung cancer. [ Methods] One hundred and twelve patients with lung cancer in stage ? -? were randomly allocated to Group A, Group B and Group C. Group A ( n = 49) was treated with XD alone, Group B ( n = 33 ) was treated with various chemotherapeutic regimens according to the histo-logical types of lung cancer: CAP regimen for lung squamous carcinoma, EP regimen for lung adenocarci-noma and CE regimen for small cell carcinoma of lung, In Group C, 30 patients were treated with chemo therapy combined with XD. Symptomatic relief, life quality, tumor size, distant metastasis, sub-types of T lymphocytes, survival period and side effects in the three groups were evaluated after one course of treatment. [Results] The effects of XD on tumor size were evaluated by the effective rate and stabilized rate. They were 4.08%and 53.06%, 21.21% and 48.48%, and 46.67%and 76.67%in Group A, Group B and Group C respectively. The differences between Group A and Group B were significant ( P

ABSTRACT

Purpose:To study the synergistic inhibitory effects of huachansu plus vinorelbine on cell growth in mice bearing Lewis lung cancer. Methods:Fifty mice bearing Lewis lung cancer were randomly divided into control group,cyclophosphamide group (CTX),huachansu group (HCS), vinorelbine group (VNB) and huachansu plus vinorelbine group (HV). Each group included ten mice. Normal saline (0.2 ml),cyclophosphamide (30 mg/kg),huachansu (5 ml/kg),vinorelbine (6.7 mg/kg),huachansu (5 ml/kg) plus vinorelbine group (6.7mg/kg) were injected intraperitoneally,respectively in the five groups. After the drugs were administered for seven days,all mice were sacrificed and the tumors were weighed. The tumor inhibitory rates were calculated and compared among the five groups of mice. The growth cycles of Lewis lung cancer were analyzed with flow cytometry. Results:The tumor inhibitory rates of HCS,VNB and HV group were 42.86% ,45.68%,53.44%,respectively. The percentage of S phase of cell cycle was increased in HCS and the percentage of G 2 /M phase increased in VNB,and both increased in HV group. Conclusions:There exists synergistic inhibitory effect on Lewis lung cancer between huachansu and vinorelbine and the mechanisms could correlate with their synergistic effect on cell growth cycles.
